Have you ever seen a cold hummingbird?

No newts were harmed in the writing of this blog.

But they very well may have been traumatized. Here are some pictures of our trip to the Oregon coast this past August. Ellie and Gracie are happily newting, I am happily fly-fishing and Holly is happily reading a book about Lewis & Clark by a peaceful river. (River ID is The Sixes) It was pretty much heaven for all of us. BTW: Ellie is holding Chloe...doesn't she just look like a Chloe? Ellie thought so.

Try not to be overwhelmed by the size of the trout I caught...I was going for the small ones that day! Yes, believe it or not there is a trout in my hands...slightly bigger than a newt.
